At the Oswego YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of kids in our community.  But when some are left out, it leaves us all a bit poorer.  That's because giving kids a safe and nurturing place to go benefits everyone.  By introducing them to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful adults, we make the community we love a better place to live.  One child at a time.  One family at a time.

YMCA programs teach young people important values such as caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect.  Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, they also develop valuable skills while they gain confidence and self-esteem.  You simply can't put a price on strengthening and enriching the character of a child.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION HELPS MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Membership and program fees at the Oswego YMCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, we truly need your help. Through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, your contribution helps us provide program support and financial assistance to families who need it in our community. Only by working together can we give more kids the opportunity to grow strong in spirit, mind and body.

BIG GOALS. TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.

This years Strong Kids Campaign is launched with an ambitious goal of raising $50,000. We ask that you please give generously so that more kids and more families in our community can share the YMCA experience.

Donations from last year's Strong Kids Campaign helped 104 families experience the positive effects of YMCA programs and activities. Our success will always be measured by the lives we touch.

Your Gift of $10/month builds self-confidence by providing swim lessons and safety programs for 3 children in our community.

Your Gift of $25/month makes it possible for one child to attend summer camp, with life-enriching activities such as educational field trips, summer games and daily excursions.

Your Gift of $50/month allows one team of kids to learn skills, sportsmanship and teamwork through participation in YMCA Youth Sports.

Your Gift of $100/month enables one child to attend a YMCA after school program for a year, a chance to make new friends and strengthen values.

Your Gift of $200/month Expands the horizons of three families, enabling them to participate in family strengthening programs with full family memberships for a year.
