Aqua Aerobics is offered at the YMCA for anyone who loves water or who wants to be in better shape without having to produce strain on your joints and muscles.

Water related exercises that increase cardiovascular fitness as well as improving overall strength. The water provides support for the body, and the risk of muscle or joint injury is greatly reduced, if not completely eliminated. A great advantage in aquatic fitness activities is that both swimmers and Non-Swimmers can participate as it is only done in chest deep water. The Water can provide for up to 90% of your body weight is supported, greatly reducing the strain on muscles bones and joints.

Individuals of any age and gender can participate.

The only equipment you will need to bring is a swim suit, and be ready to get a workout.

Cost $50 dollars for a 2 classes a week per session or $60 dollars for 3 classes a week per session. (Sessions are 5 weeks long) Classes are free for all YMCA members.
