"NEW" Samba Rhythms Dancing for students in grades 7th - 12th. The newest addition to the Oswego YMCA Dance Program began Wednesday, April 30th at 6:30pm at the Oswego YMCA. It's not too late to join!

Students in grades 7th - 12th who wish to learn the fundamentals of Samba can still join. Samba Rhythms will be for 4 weeks starting at 6:30pm until 8:30pm.

COST: $25 for Oswego YMCA members $35 for program members.

FREE Chair Massage by Justin Jaskula LMT - The Oswego YMCA Fitness Center is offering FREE 15 minute chair massages for YMCA Members. Justing is available Wednesday evenings from 5:20pm - 6:40pm and Friday mornings from 8:20am - 9:40am. Interested members can sign up at the Welcome Center.

Oswego YMCA Book Club - May 27, 2008 - This month's selection is "The Almost Moon" by Alice Sebold.

For years, Helen Kightly has given her life to theirs: to her haunted mother, to her enigmatic father, to her husband and now-grown daughters. Unfolding over twenty-four hours, this novel explores the ties between mothers and daughters, wives and lovers, the meaning of devotion and the line between love and hate.

The new session of the Book Club will meet every 4th Tuesday of the month in the Armory Parlor at 7pm.

COST: Free for Oswego YMCA members $5 for program members.

Summer Camp Registration - The Osweg YMCA youth summer camp is currently taking registrations for the 2008 season. The camp program will be offered in two different camps: Camp Ontario and NEW "Camp Cayuga" - a sport themed camp.

Campers may choose between Camp Ontario and Camp Cayuga. Camp Ontario will include a side variety of activities including arts and crafts, swimming, sports, science, reading and various group games. Camp Cayuga will focus on a sport specific theme each week. Both camps will begin at 9:00am, with early drop off times available at 7:00am - 9:00am. Camp Cayuga and Camp Ontario will run until 3:30pm and 4:00pm, with pick up times available until 5:30pm.

Camp Ontario and Cayuga are both $120 per week plus the cost of weekly field trips. A $10 registration fee is due at time of sign up per child/per week.
